Dynaudio, founded in 1977, is one of the brightest representatives of the famous Danish school of sound. By purchasing its acoustic systems, you get the most reliable reproduction of music, down to the smallest nuances. With more than four decades of research and development, Dynaudio engineers have accumulated a wealth of experience that is successfully combined with the latest audio technologies. They managed to improve the sound quality to such an extent that you can hear not only individual parts in musical works, but also individual instruments in the orchestra (up to the third violin).
Dynaudio today is a whole group that produces both home and professional speaker systems for monitoring in recording studios, as well as Hi-Fi car audio systems. Its extensive line includes classic floor-standing and bookshelf speaker systems of the Emit, Excite, Contour, Confidence, Evidence series and the unique High End speaker Consequence Ultimate Edition, as well as active wireless speakers of the Xeo and Focus XD series, active subwoofers, built-in speaker systems, outdoor speakers and accessories for their installation.
Dynaudio's team of development engineers draws on its own innovations in materials, processes and component manufacturing. It has its own research and development center in Skanderborg (Denmark), which houses a huge acoustic measurement facility called “Jupiter”, opened in December 2016.
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Dynaudio has released the Dynaudio Special Forty bookshelf speakers. This model embodied all the potential accumulated by Dynaudio. As a result, the Special Forty speaker systems won awards from the most popular British magazine “What Hi-Fi” for three years in a row - “Best standmount speaker over £2000” - “Best bookshelf speaker systems in the category over £2000”.
Dynaudio's soft dome tweeters are the result of thoughtful development and consistent improvement over several decades to achieve the best possible acoustic performance. The production process of each tweeter takes a long time, because... The fabric canopy is covered with many layers of proprietary compound.
Dynaudio's woofers and midrange cones are made from proprietary MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) composite material, which is lightweight, high-rigidity, and has excellent damping. All Dynaudio speakers use ultra-lightweight aluminum wire-wound voice coils and powerful magnets. Durable and rigid cases are finished with selected natural veneer, polished so as to please the owner for a long time. The most modern computer modeling methods are used in the design process, but the final word still remains behind the ears of the experts who listen to all the models.
