The British company Mission was created by engineer Farad Azima in 1977, and from the very beginning was recognized as one of the world leaders in the development of acoustic technology. Advanced technologies allowed her to create an extensive line of speaker systems in a short time - from the most inexpensive to the High-End class.
1978
The original Mission 770 speakers debuted in 1978 and quickly became Mission's best-selling models, followed naturally by the MK2 and MK3, which improved sensitivity and power handling.
Farad Azima himself was a very versatile person, so he personally participated in the creation of the 770 model. But also, two talented engineers were involved in the development - Philip Swift and Derek Scotland. It is they who will soon create the Audiolab brand, which today will become a sister company to Mission.
1999
Since 1999, the design and development of Mission loudspeakers has been led by renowned audio engineer Peter Comeau, who has created many original speaker families and models. In recent years, many of its acoustic systems have repeatedly won tests and won honorary awards and titles.
Throughout its journey, the company did not stop in development and search for new ideas, following the development of the polymer industry, Mission engineers experimented with various combinations of materials, which led to the emergence of a signature sound and design. The company began to be talked about all over the world, and its name became synonymous with technology and quality.
2001
Mission's many years of accumulated development experience resulted in the Pilastro project in 2001, which was an advanced acoustic system of the time. This acoustics was the first to use Vifa ring tweeters, and the elegant design, materials used, sensitivity, transparency and dynamics made this model very important in the history of the company, and the developments in its creation for a long time found a place in subsequent Mission acoustic series.
2005
Mission became part of the IAG group of companies, whose headquarters are located in China. Development and production have also moved to China, to a state-of-the-art facility in Shenzhen, where at least a dozen other well-known global brands are produced.
2016
The first generation of the initial LX series was released with such a combination of quality and price that the line immediately received several awards.
2018
The first generation of the QX series with an advanced ring tweeter was a resounding success.
2019
The ZX line was released, which received flagship status for the most advanced technologies - not only within the Mission lineup, but also in the audio industry as a whole.
2021
They released the first fully wireless LX Connect system in the Mission line.

Thanks to engineering research in the production of acoustics, Mission is a respected and well-known brand in the audio market, which does not copy research, but goes its own way with a constant search for new ideas and technologies. Accolades and positive reviews in respected industry magazines further testify to the quality of Mission's products, which are distinguished by their own signature sound and design.
