The CEO and co—founder of Perlisten is Daniel Romer, who has been working in the audio industry for more than 25 years and specializes in new methods of measuring and modeling acoustic systems. He gained extensive work experience at companies such as NHT, Acoustic Research and Advent, and then at MITek Corporation, where he headed the research and development department. Over the years, he has also been involved in the aviation and automotive industries, including Aston Martin, Land Rover and Ford. He also worked on the development of headphone amplifiers and active speaker systems.
His partner is Lars Johansen, who has worked with brands such as JBL, Harman Kardon, Klipsch, Jamo for more than 30 years of experience in the audio industry. He held a senior position at Harman International from 1990-99. Over the past decade, he has been a partner and president of Miller & Kreisel (M&K Sound), providing some of the best audio systems for professional recording studios and premium home theater.
